Benefits of TTOS Membership
TTOS National Membership:
Membership in TTOS National is a requirement for membership in the Southern Pacific Division. National membership has many benefits. You can join as many divisions as you want to and attend any of the 20 other TTOS division’s meets for a nominal charge. You will recieve “The Bulletin”, our club magazine published four times a year. Inside this magazine are interesting articles written by members that will interest the operators and collectors in the club. The “Order Board” section has recently been added which is a buy/sell listing for members to list trains they are selling or particular items they are searching for. You will also be able to attend our exciting National Conventions held every August and hosted by one or more divisions all over the country. You also will have access to special members only National Convention cars and Division offerings as well. The $35.00 per year for membership in TTOS National is a bargain.
Southern Pacific Division of TTOS:
Membership in the Southern Pacific Division is only $25.00 per calendar year. You will receive the “Daylighter” magazine, an informative and entertaining publication printed six times a year. In the Daylighter you will find out about upcoming Southern Pacific events and read unique points of view related to our hobby. You can also attend our monthly meets at the Brookhurst Community Center in Anaheim. It is an excellent place to find good buys on trains from all different makes and eras. Our meets are a great place to meet new people who are happy to share their knowledge with newcomers to model railroading or just talk trains. Bring your kids too, we have a kids corner with toys and train videos they can watch. We also have several operating layouts present at each meet brought by our own members. There is a raffle at each meet with some excellent prizes including locomotives, accessories, rolling stock, and even train sets! We also hold an auction at each meet that anyone may participate in, whether they are buying or selling.
